I'm now in Martinez, CA, around the Bay area. Left Yosemite a little early because I did everything I set out to do. I was going to do another backpack trip but was still so sore from Half Dome and there was snow on the trail. I finished up yesterday at Mariposa Grove and on my last 0.2 miles of hiking managed to sprain my ankle! I'm a little perturbed. Same one I screwed up back in 2004. I was at least able to walk on it this morning. I went and got a brace and will just have to see how it does over the next few days.
I'm now sitting in "Launderland" washing clothes. Will wash the car when I'm done here. Got my haircut in Dublin. Going to get my tires aligned tomorrow in Napa. I was talking to some guy at Yosemite about the various hikes and it somehow got to he is from Napa. I asked if he had a tire guy and sure enough he did. Two Italian brothers...just like "Car Talk". I go there first thing in the morning, so if that gets done quick, I'll drive around the Valley and see what's going on. A couple days out from the A's game so have some time to kill.
