Just a few shots from my brief visit around San Francisco. I got a day-pass for the cable cars and it will pretty much get you from one side of town to the other...downtown to the Wharf.
The day I left town, I snuck across the Golden Gate Bridge and went to Muir Woods. Muir is a grove of Redwoods in a canyon. It was bought by a couple back in the early 1900s for preservation and is now owned by you! My pictures do no justice. You have to go see it for yourself.
The cable cars are manually turned when they reach the end of the line...see the guy in the vest...he’s workin’.

One of the main lines runs up and down Powell Street.
I think it’s a federal law to go here if you go to San Francisco.
It should be federal law to go here daily.
Amazing how thin a layer the fog can actually be.
Clearing...some.
Capone’s home. Worth going to. I went in 2001.
Our car got broken into while there so I didn’t feel the need to go back.
Proof I really did ride on the cable car.
There I am again. I was thinking of Bob Saget the whole time.
You try snapping a photo of the Golden Gate in rush hour while driving.
There are no trees in cities, so obviously this is now Muir Woods.
