Got up early to go see how much of Zion National Park I could do in 4-5 hours. Actually able to do a lot. Got there by 730 or so and avoided the big rush. They have a shuttle system that takes you up and down the main road...you can't drive. At first, I thought it'd be a pain but it really worked out well. They run every 7 minutes or so. You get off at a stop and stay a few and then get back on the shuttle and go to the next. Did a short 2 mile hike to The Narrows where the canyon narrows. There's another scenic road you can drive on that's kind of cool so I did that, too. It goes though a couple of crazy tunnels that were carved out in the 1930s. It's definitely a place worth going back and exploring. They have some good hikes to get to better viewpoints that I just didn't have time to do.
Got to Anaheim just before 7pm--actually got stuck in Angel traffic for just a bit. Traffic was not bad coming into town. They only time I should have to get on I-5 is to head to Dodger Stadium. That'll be Sunday morning, so surely it won't take forever to get there. The only thing I really want to do around here is to go see the "Hollywood" sign. I might just do that on the way to Dodger Stadium.
Weather is perfect. High tomorrow...76 :) Night game tomorrow so I might even have to find a pair of jeans to throw on. I'll throw up pictures of Arches and Zion tomorrow. I think I have 400 or so to go through, mainly because I was shooting each shot 3 or 4 times at different exposures.
