What a game! Best I've seen so far. LL or MLB. It was 1-1 after one inning and stayed that way until the top of the ninth when a kid from Mexico cranked one over. They went on to win 2-1. At one point, Venezuela had the bases loaded and nobody out. Mexico got out of it. The Venezuelan right fielder threw someone out at home with a great throw. I was really pulling for the Venezuelan team. You see them running around everywhere. Being players, they can sit in an assigned section, but they usually just squeeze in with the rest of the crowd. Most teams seem to have 4 or 5 "parents" per kid here. They had a total of 4 who could afford to make the trip. They do get to play Japan tomorrow, and the winner of that game goes on to the international championship. I'm taking down a Slush Puppy now. I haven't had one of those since the PBCC days!
