It all starts over today. Your record matters no more. Vegas gives us 5-2 odds of beating the Phils...slim chance according to them. But, think about it:

We just beat the Phils 3 out of 4 in Philly...before they clinched.

The last team with the best record to win it all were the 1995 Braves.

La Russa fairs pretty well in Division Series. He's taken us to 8, and I think we only lost to the eventual 2001 World Champions in 5 games. I think we've won the rest.

They are making a lot of Carpenter going on short rest. I don't think it matters. He's 10-2 in his last 19 starts. He's been here before.

Game 1 starter Lohse had a 1.37 ERA last month and is 6-1 over the last two months.

We still have Pujols.

LET'S GO CARDS!
